The fab empire is a online blog that focus on the social life, party life and other events in the DC , Baltimore, Boston and New York area of the world. The content is mostly focused to urban professionals or bubbies or broke ballers.
Many people do not know about the rumor that surrounds the founder Joi-Marie McKenzie. It is alleged that Mckenize, whose father was once an NBA basketball player allegedly and her mother herself has a journalist background, is allegedly strongly related to the Murphy family in Baltimore, MD. You know the Afro newspaper Murphy. To some this explains, the quick access and ability of McKenize. After all it is not who you blow but, who you know.
In a recent article that was posted on The Fab Empire source , the comment section was full of doubt about the stories facts.
The story alleged that K-Cee and Joe Joe were on drugs, that the concert was wacked and in one word "Ghetto".
People have posted their comments about the show and start calling Adriene Boone, who was the author, a female dog and some other names.

"First off, none of this article is accurate. It wasn’t hundreds of people there, it was two thousand plus. Next, only one local act was boo’ed momentarily. The local acts were put on to show our hometown some love, and to showcase talent we have in our own back yard. K-Ci and Jo Jo sounded amazing. They were not put off stage because they were under any influence. We had to be out of the building by 12am due to city ordinance.
