Did the man finally Kill WPFW radio or did times just change

Somebody kicked the teeth out of WPFW's mouth and left her toothless. Although some programming remains at WPFW, she is not the sister on the corner of Chinatown to some that remember her.
For those that remember WPFW from Chinatown, you know that she was a bad mamma but, times change. One factor is other stations have better numbers and, the WPFW listening group is much older. This has caused WPFW change so that the station is competitive in the radio market. People change and if you don't keep a house up, the ownership will change.
If you have not heard, WPFW radio has changed once more. In the early days, the station was really community focused and a media outlet for the local voices to be heard along with local artist.
As time passed, WPFW had bills to pay and the donations slowed. From my understanding donations did not stop that much, the radio host were stopped from collection donations from outside the station. This was done to verify that the host had a good listening and participating audience. After this was done, one can say this was the end of bad mama setup in Chinatown.
Recently, the Washington Post and others reported about the current situation at WPFW.
