After a stand off with the Baltimore Police Department, James MacArthur learn that the po po don't play . How does that song go, "i fought the law and the law won".
If you google, MacArthur's blog site the Baltimore Spectator, you will hear the long battle between Baltimore City and this one man activist.
To make a long story short, MacArthur problems started with him being assaulted on his property one morning. Some how some way MacArthur allegedly produced a gun to fight off the attackers. Once the police showed up, they asked MacArthur how did he get the gun. He was arrested and sat in jail for 40 days. Hmmm, what happen to a speedy trail anyway.
After his 40 days, MacArthur signed a plea deal. This reminds me of a story my mom told me as a young black male.
It went like this . The police like to arrest young black males. If you are every arrested, you keep your mouth shut till , I get there. I don't care if they are killing you , you don't say nothing. If you say something, I cannot help you.
The moral of this story is if you become a political prisoner, you have to hold out till your trial comes. I know . I know jail is hell.
The video shows MacArthurs last days of freedom. The cost to arrest MacArthur are very high and, one can assure that the police will try to justify their action over an open warrant.
