Source Magazine comes to DMV to seek unsigned artist and showcase

On Sunday , October 7,2012 at LIV ( DC )I Got It For Free and One vs Many presents The Unsigned Battle along with The Source Magazine.
The Unsigned Battle is a showcase of innovative, creative individuals presented by media ambassadors I Got It For Free ,DCrap and the incomparable “Bible of Hip-Hop,” The Source magazine. The event includes a beat battle between emerging producers, a record battle between upcoming artist, and a panel.
The Unsigned Beat and Record Battle will consist of 16 producers competing in 3 rounds in front of a panel of judges who will critic them based skill, quality,performance,and most importantly crowd participation.The Winner of both the record battle and beat battle will receive over a $1000 in cash and prizes including a round trip to NYC to record at Quad Studios and a feature on Thesource.com.
This years panel and judges includes The Source Magazine, Legreg Harrison of The Board Administration (responsible for the careers of Wale and Black Cobain), DJ Quicksilva (WKYS 93.9/Unruly Records), Marcus Moore (MTVHive), Chris Richards (pop music critic Washington Post), Marcus K Dowling (Listen Vision/Brooklyn Bodega) ,Dj Mims (Wedcradio.com) , Dj Heat (WPGC 95.5) , Mike Rice (DTLR marketing rep) JukeboxDC , Quad Studios and more. Special guest appearance will be made by Black Cobain and Shy Glizzy.
