Absolute Vengeance was created in 2006 by brothers; Jonathan and Stephen Clay (guitars), Dwight Muhlbradt (drums), Drew Landriau (bass) and Brian Gant (vocals).

The name Absolute Vengeance signifies for the members a push to create music of substance. They aspire to set themselves apart from the disposable nu-metal that dominated airwaves and the formulaic metalcore which rose to prominence during the first decade of the 21st century. Though the sound of Absolute Vengeance is constantly evolving, it is largely a mixture of up-tempo thrash, melodies inspired by Scandinavian metal, and generous amounts of rock. Dynamic songwriting and catchy hooks coexist with precision riffing and crushing grooves.

In 2007, Absolute Vengeance recorded a self-titled 3 track E.P. All self-released copies were sold and they played numerous live shows. Absolute Vengeance then returned to the studio to record “Beneath the Flesh” at the end of 2008. This self-released album became available at live shows in 2009, and in 2010 an expanded edition, containing tracks from the first E.P., was released through iTunes and all other major electronic outlets.

Early 2011 saw the departure of bassist Drew Landriau, leaving to pursue other music endeavors. Vocalist Brian Gant took over and is now pulling double duty, holding down the low end and singing. Absolute Vengeance is moving forward as a four piece and is preparing to record new music and incorporate new songs into their live performance in the coming months.
