According to Erik Wemple a former Washington city paper editor, the Washington City paper has insurance for such problems like the Dan Snyder lawsuit and, the deductible is not high.
Wemple was shocked that Snyder thinks he can stop small but effective news paper such as Washington city paper. Time will tell if Wemple is correct. Wemple is currently employed at TBD.com
