With the cuts to NPR and other federally funded radio stations, your favorite informative non profit radio station maybe in trouble. In the DMV area, this is the rumor list of stations that could be effected.

The Baltimore Sun reported these stations. Federal funding cuts for DC-based NPR could be most harmful to some of the public radio network's smaller "niche" stations, like Baltimore's adult alternative rock WTMD (89.7 FM) and jazz/talker WEAA (88.9 FM). And the cuts could start in weeks, station managers say. WEAA is Morgan State University radio.
