People got sick a Maryland swim meet

During the Finals Session of the Maryland State Swimming Championships at the Naval Academy on Saturday, March 5, 2011, several athletes became ill on deck. During the following hours, many other participants in the meet including volunteers, coaches, and families of swimmers also became ill. Participants exhibiting symptoms were asked by the Meet Staff to withdraw from competition and leave the venue to help prevent further spread of the illness.
