Montgomery County’s Advisory Committee on Consumer Protection will host a public forum that will examine financial issues facing seniors on Wednesday, March 23 from 6 to 8 p.m., at the Charter House, 1316 Fenwick Lane, Silver Spring. Montgomery County Council President Valerie Ervin will present the welcome.

Entitled, “Financial Fraud: Seniors Fight Back,” the free forum will be moderated by Beacon Newspaper publisher Stuart Rosenthal. He will lead a discussion with experts from the County’s Office of Consumer Protection (OCP), the Maryland Long Term Care Ombudsman Program, the Montgomery County State’s Attorney’s Office, attorneys in the field and audience members.
