Cole Stevens Salon and Day Spa owner Diane Stevens is the founder of the Cinderella Foundation. The non profit helps young women in America and over sea in Sierra Leone.
In America , the foundation works with girls through ongoing mentoring, academic enrichment and strengthening their self-esteem. In Sierra Leone, West Africa, the foundation help provided a way out of poverty for at least 300 families by teaching cosmetology skills to women.
The foundation is able to put on fashion charity event once a year with high profile designers such ad Korto Momolu, Carol Hannah Whitfield, Jerell Scott and Reco Chapple. The event brings out some of national public figures and local public figures too such as designer Kwab Asamoah of Kustom Looks, Stacie Turner (Real Housewives of DC), Anjie Corley (WPGC), Guy Lambert (WPGC), Marcus Johnson, Wisdom Martin and Sunny Hostin .
