Well people in the DMV , it is that time of year again. Yes, election time and, the games and drama have started. If you have not heard, there is a term called the slate ballot. A Slate ballot is a ballot that has a sample ballot and peoples name checked off that are being endorsed by the entity that had the slate ballot published , printed, emailed or mailed to you. Well, this is legal as long as you identify it as such and ,their is nothing wrong with it. It is all love and hate in politics.
Well, lets zero in on a slate ballot in the Laurel, MD and, the Rosapepe slate ballot and his district one syndicate family. The main people in this family are Joseline Pena-Melnyk, Barabara A Frush , and Ben Barnes. If you have seen this ballot , some people were left off.
The people left off and not checked are running for county council in Prince George's County District 1. The names are Valerie L Cunningham, Sam Epps, Mary A Lehman, Frederick Smalls and Crystal R. Thompson. If you know anything about the game in the northern part of the PG county, you know one thing. All these bamas have or had a political relationship with State Senator Rosapepe.
For example, they have attended the same functions, shown support and supported each other in the political game and, hey, may even been to each others cook outs.
The smoking politician is up next Thomas E Demoga. Yes, Demoga cannot run for council seat anymore therefore, he is running for state attorney. Some people say don't vote for him but , that is irrelevant to this article.
One has to ask a philosophical question. If Demoga could run, do you think his name would be check at the county council seat due to past relationship with the Rosapepe syndicate family of northern PG county.
Well, Pena-Melnky after being put under hard questions and avoiding the photos , asking not to be video tape and dam near crying before driving off and using her cell phone at the same time while driving gave a statement.
She stated, that the slate ballot participates were split and therefore, did not choose any member for the county council seat of district one. They wanted the people to decided and , they will come to an agreement after the votes are counted. The slate ballot participates are aka the Rosapepe syndicate family listed above.
This sounds like a good answer but, we must keep in mind one particular person that basically has alot of influence in this county. He is the one of 3 person's on the Maryland State Ballot running unopposed for his party. Yes, Rosapepe.
Basically , these individuals running for county council seat in district 1 of PG County have no value to the syndicate family at this point. Yet, Rosapepe got to vote on who was chosen to be placed with a red x by their name on his sample ballot.
