Woof Woof are the sounds that will be heard in Upshur Dog Park, 4300 Arkansas Avenue. The groundbreaking was done recently and the dogs and dog lovers cannot wait for the park to be completed.
Like most things for the community inside the limits of the District of Columbia, the dog park is free because of private and government partnership. The cost of the park was 300k. More dog parks to come around the city.
“We are excited to begin work on this exciting new dog park,” said Mayor Adrian M. Fenty. “The dog park program is a great example of public-private partnerships that leads to additional resources and activities for all residents.”
